spent®is the imprint of Keith Burnson making his way through pressure, doubt, beauty, and life. Paintings, clothing, furniture, and objects turn all of it into something to see, touch, wear, or share.
Artworks&fuckups
What began as a way to step away from the screen became a place to experiment, follow instincts, make mistakes, and let one idea turn naturally into whatever came next.
Keith has spent more than a decade building brands and digital experiences, but making art gives him somewhere to think with his hands. His work pulls from design, surfing, memory, risk, change, and the constant tension between holding on and letting go.
Built from pressure, failure, old materials, and the stubborn belief that being spent never means being finished.
SPENT began in Tampa in 2011 as a place to make art without clients, briefs, or expectations. What started with paintings and works on paper soon moved into clothing, furniture, objects, and anything else worth trying.
The name comes from feeling used up, then realizing exhaustion, doubt, and change can still leave behind something worth making.
Each piece is built through layers of paint, reclaimed wallpaper, collage, silkscreen, sanding, and repetition. Surfaces are covered, stripped back, damaged, and worked again until something honest appears. The wear stays visible because the history, mistakes, and struggle are not separate from the finished work.
